So I was among some of the first people in High School to get married. Now I'm in a smaller more exclusive circle of those who've gotten divorced. Yup, it's true, we've separated, but it's the right thing and I've been looking forward to being single for some time now. It's just such a big deal. I've already dealt with the emotional side, because this was really over long ago. Now I'm just stressed about the logistics - financial ties, the house we own, his business, my Stella... My dog is one of the few things that really makes me sad because we both want her. She is our child, but it would also be nice to reduce my responsibility and have the freedom to travel without having to worry about her care. The biggest pain in the ass is that for three nights I've awoken at 2 am as though I was ready to start the day. I can't get back to sleep until 5 and then I'm shit for the day. It's funny you mentioned the insomnia, Gina, I completely need it to function too. Anyways, I'll be staying at Olga's until Mark and I make some decisions on this; and I'm visiting Tim in San Fran this weekend to let loose a little. | | Wednesday, March 1st, 2006 | | 4:26 pm |
myspace
I just signed onto myspace. Look me up sometime. What's new with me? I've been signing onto sketchy web groups in order to meet new people. Is it wierd to meet people on-line? I guess people do it all the time. It's the wierdest thing to tell people about yourself via email. There's no one way to describe yourself, so I'm hesistant to list things that I'm into because they'll make assumption of what type of person I am. You know what I mean? Anyways... I went to Marti Gras in Hillcrest last night. I'll be putting photos up on myspace of some of the better drag queens. | | Saturday, January 14th, 2006 | | 4:18 pm |
It's funny. We spent a day dreading how our lives will be turned upside down by splitting up and then joking that evening that we decided not to divorce because of the hassle. I'm glad we're on such good terms, I just don't know what the solution is. | | Thursday, January 12th, 2006 | | 12:46 pm |
Back from Belize. I highly suggest it. Had a great time snorkeling. I touched sting reys and swam with sharks. The sea turtle was probably the best. We did two excursions to the mainland. One was to see Mayan ruins. The other day, we road a zip line through the jungle and did cave tubing. Drank lots of rum punch and panty rippers. As much fun as that was, I think some serious shit is going to go down with Mark and I. Wish me luck. | | Monday, January 2nd, 2006 | | 12:54 pm |
Thanks to all you guys for showing me a good time in MKE. I really had a great time letting loose, particularly on New Years Eve. Hmm, hmm. I'll be forwarding you photos eventually. | | Monday, December 26th, 2005 | | 6:48 pm |
I had a decent Christmas although I have to release my sister of hosting priviledges. She can't cook for shit and her house reeks of cat urine. Not to mention that you breath cat hair and pull it out of your food. Oh, god, I can't even begin with her. But it was a lucritive holiday, I guess. An iou for an ipod. Yuedi always gets me makeup, the good stuff, so I'll look all hot when you see me tomorrow. Ha ha. And I got a mask, goggles, fins, and water shoes for my trip to Belize. I know, I'm super spoiled, aren't I? Yay! I can't wait to see you all tomorrow. I'm catching up with time right when I get in because he's only there for another day. But I have the rest of the time for you all. First round on me. | | Monday, November 14th, 2005 | | 8:21 am |
Crap. I can't figure out how to erase the journal entry. | | 8:17 am |
Oh my god, how embarrassing. Misery stew? What was I smoking? I had to erase it to save myself from further embarrassment. | | Friday, November 11th, 2005 | | 2:10 pm |
And would you believe that I have to take the lead of my siblings when one is in mental health and the other an attorney? -skills that directly relate to the situation. Not to mention they're 10 and 12 years older than me. |
